ONLY PHYSICIANS are eligible to study medical education at Cambridge KIPP.
Applicants are expected to prepare the following documents:
- You scanned medical certificate, e.g. MBBS, MBBCh or an equivalent certificate as a minimum, plus other postgraduate credentials (if any).
- A print-out of your university transcript.
- An acknowledgement letter attested from your institute/hospital about your current position and responsibilities.
- THREE recommendation letters signed by your supervisors, directors, or senior colleagues in your hospital/medical college. Recommenders should indicate their positions, telephone numbers and emails for verification.
- An updated curriculum vitae (CV), including your personal details, current position, responsibilities, credentials, professional experience in medical education, other academic activities, and your research interests.
- A recent personal photograph in passport size with a white background.
- A passport copy signed by the candidate.
- A birth certificate translated in English.
- Transaction receipt for the admission test fee (GBP 70, non-refundable)
- If you wish to apply for a scholarship, you should submit a motivational letter (1000 words max) to discuss four points: How did you know about the program? Why do you want to study medical education? What did you like about the program of Cambridge KIPP in particular? and most important, What do you plan to do with your new credential in medical education?
- A list of your publications (if any).
All of the above documents should be submitted in English as attachments with an email to medicaleducation@cambridgekipp.com no later than 16:00 (GMT) on Monday, 18 March 2013. The subject of the email should be: “Requirements – your name”.
Applications will be reviewed and filtered and those who are shortlisted will receive an offer to study medical education at Cambridge KIPP (UK) and they will have to appear at an admission test.
The admission test is neither related to English nor to medicine. It is an aptitude test that is designed to assure that our program will fulfill your expectations. Should you are shortlisted, you will receive more information on the test and your admission status.
After passing the admission test, you will be kindly requested to submit the transaction document with the tuition fee for Certificate according to your study plans. Next to that, Cambridge KIPP will send you a final acceptance letter with detailed information on how to log in the virtual classroom for the first session and a plan for your study.
